User Agreement between you and Award Auctions
THE FOLLOWING IS THE USER AGREEMENT AS PRESENTED BY Award Auctions . YOU MUST AGREE TO THESE TERMS BEFORE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO POST ITEMS, OR BID ON THEM. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THESE TERMS, PLEASE, DO NOT USE OUR SERVICES. ONCE YOU CLICK THE I ACCEPT BUTTON BELOW, YOU AGREE TO THESE SAID TERMS OF THE USER AGREEMENT BELOW.
Article 1. Membership - This auction site is only available to people who are legally able to form binding contracts with you and the seller/buyer of an auction item. People who are of under age of 18 are not eligible for membership. If you do not meet these requirements, you are not eligible to use these auction services. Article 2. Award Auctions is only providing auction services. We only provide services to people interested in selling and buying stamps and philatelic material via internet auction. Except for
items offered for sale by Collins Stamps we do not have control over the items, nor responsible for the actions of those who participate and cannot guarantee the authenticity and quality of a said product. However, sellers are expected follow Article 4. Posting Items. Users must obtain permission to post auction listings on this site. Users who fail to
follow the terms of this user agreement may be suspended from using this site without notice.
Use of this site is at your own risk, and content is presented 'As-Is'. Article 3. Bidding and Selling - As a user, you may bid and/or sell merchandise on this site operated by Award Auctions . As a bidder, you know that placing a bid is a binding contract with you and the seller, and the bid cannot be retracted unless due to fault by the seller of typographical error, or other error, due to human error on the seller's part. Once you place a bid, and if you win, you will be obligated to buy the product at the said price you indicated as your bid. As a seller, the item that you place up for bids must be real and in your possession. Pre-sales are not accepted. Once a bid has been placed for your item, you are being placed in a binding contract with the potential buyer of the product, if that bid shall be the highest bid. Once the auction is over, if over reserve price, you are obligated to sell to the potential buyer which is the highest bidder in your Auction.
If, reserve price was not met, you are not obligated in any way to sell this item. As a seller, you are not in any way to bid on your own items. If reported, your Auction will be deleted. Buyers not satisfied with a received item agree to contact the seller and return it in the time frame and according to the conditions and terms of the sellers return policy Article 4. Posting Items - As a user, you can only post items up for sale if APPROVED by Award Auctions . We do have restrictions on what items you may sell, and what you may not sell. You may not sell illegal merchandise, including pirated videos, software, music, or firearms. Items that are up for bids are subject to review by the staff of Award Auctions , and may be removed without prior notice, if in violation with the User Agreement. In addition we stipulate that all sellers agree with the following guidelines: A. that sellers offer a guarantee of satisfaction on all items offered for sale and that you state so clearly in your item description, you are expected to accept returns on any lot where the buyer is not satisfied, and the buyer returns the item in accordance with the conditions and terms of your return policy in your description.B.You should clearly state any additional charges like shipping, handling, insurance, etc. in your item description.C. You may list forged stamps, facsimiles, and reproductions if they are clearly stated in the title and/or description that the item is a forgery, fake, reproduction, or facsimile. D. We do not allow links or references to other web sites in your descriptions, except for third party payment sites and membership in philatelic organizations. If you feel there is some other site that you must reference, contact us prior to using it. E. The seller may edit or delete any items which have no bids at any time.F. Listings should contain descriptions of known faults and alterations to stamps that are offered for sale on this site. Article 5. Privacy - Personal information is not sold, rented, without your permission. Personal information sent to a user regarding a product bought or sold on the auction is not to be used for any other purpose, except for communication with the auction item. Article 6. Listing Fees - A. There is a listing fee of ten (0.10) cents for each item listed or relisted on the site. Additional fees apply if you select any of the optional listing features in your auction description. B. There is a final sales commission of 2% of the sales price for any item sold. C. No final sales commission if your item does not sell. D. It will cost you One-Dollar (1.00) if you set a reserve price on a auction lot. F. Sellers who fail to pay accrued listing fees will be suspended from using this site. We may change our listing fee policy from time to time. These changes will become effective after we provide you with at least fourteen (14) days' notice of the changes by posting them on the front page of this site. Article 7. Warranty - Award Auctions provide this website in an 'as-is' condition, without a warranty or condition. Award Auctions is not liable for any damages resulting in an auction, or your visit to the site. By Pressing I Accept, You Agree to these terms listed above. |
